Promoting circulation for healthy legs
The concept of compression therapy is based on a simple yet effective mechanical principle: the application of an elastic textile. By compressing the limb with graduated compression—highest pressure at the ankle and decreasing pressure proximally—the compression stocking supports venous return, reduces venous pressure, effectively prevents venous stasis and damage to the vein walls, and thus alleviates venous leg symptoms such as heaviness and pain. Depending on the type and extent of the condition, compression therapy can be administered with calf stockings, thigh stockings, tights, socks, or bandages.

Custom-made
Depending on body shape and condition, predefined standard sizes may be suitable, covering certain anatomical and common size ratios. However, the anatomy of some patients requires a custom-made solution, which is individually manufactured for each patient.
A custom-made garment is necessary for:
Indications requiring a flat-knit medical compression stocking, which is usually the case with lymphedema or lipedema,
Very small or very tall individuals,
Unusual leg shapes, for example, when the ratio of ankle to calf circumference is relatively large,
Different compression classes for each leg.
