During longer and more intensive training sessions, the Achilles Support provides targeted assistance, helps relieve mild Achilles tendon discomfort thanks to the integrated Achilles pad, and promotes a secure, confident running feel while in motion.
Achilles Tendon Support with Functional Pad and Comfort Zones
The Achilles pad surrounds the Achilles tendon and, together with the knitted fabric, provides an alternating pressure massage. Small nodules and two pressure points on the lower wings of the pad deliver targeted stimulation to the surrounding tendon area. This activates the musculature and improves local metabolism, helping reduce swelling or edema. Thanks to its perforated design, the pad is lightweight and breathable.
Different knitted zones apply gentle compression to enhance proprioception and provide improved sensorimotor feedback. The sports support relieves stress on ligaments and tendons, enables faster activation of the stabilizing foot muscles, and improves joint coordination. Integrated comfort zones ensure optimal wearing comfort. The pressure-free edge prevents constriction, while the front closure seam is offset to the side, preventing friction under the foot or across the instep.
