Custom-made carbon knee shell orthosis with eccentric sliding mechanism (translation) of the lower leg shell relative to the thigh shell. Shifting the lower leg shell forward relieves the posterior cruciate ligament and the posterolateral structures, while shifting it backward relieves the anterior cruciate ligament and the medial collateral ligament.
